Add/drop wdm cassette
The add/drop wdm cassette combines two 3-port filter wdms in a pigtailed version for board mounting or a front panel connectorized version for shelf installation. An optional variable attenuator can be included in the "add" channel. The device can be used with 1310-, 1480-, 1510-, or 1625-nm telemetry signals to bypass a fiber amplifier or regenerator. Other applications include add/drop 200-GHz channels in dense wdm systems. Drop and pass isolation are better than 30 dB.
