A dual wdm module can be used for fiber system testing while systems are operating. The module can also double fiber capacity. Isolation of >55 dB between wavelengths ensures no crosstalk. The unit features insertion loss 1 dB, bidirectional operation, nonreflection characteristics, and low polarization sensitivity. The module supports applications in telecommunications, cable TV, and fiber-testing.
