Wavelength-controlled laser light source

Intended for field testing of wdm systems, the K1742X series achieves wavelength adjustment via a micrometer adjustment and is accurate to 0.5 nm. Fine wavelength adjustment is also possible by adjusting the temperature-controlled lasers. Spurious spectral elements are about 40 dB down, and the tuning range is at least 䔮 nm. Interchangeable optical connectors allow improved flexibility and are dust- and drop-protected. The autotest feature enables automatic dual-wavelength testing when the light source is used with compatible power meters.
