APA Optics reports follow-up order for 50 Gigahertz DWDM optical component

May 16, 2001--APA Optics, Inc. announced it has received a repeat order for its 16-channel, 50 Gigahertz (GHz) spacing dense wavelength division multiplexer/demultiplexer (DWDM) component.

APA Optics, Inc. (Nasdaq : APAT) announced it has received a repeat order for its 16-channel, 50 Gigahertz (GHz) spacing dense wavelength division multiplexer/demultiplexer (DWDM) component. The order, which is more than twice as large as APA's previous largest DWDM order, is contingent upon delivery and acceptance of an order received from this customer in March of this year for 21 units. These units are to be delivered by the end of July 2001.
