Corrigent opens India office

January 4, 2006 San Jose, CA -- Corrigent Systems, a provider of Packet ADM (add-drop multiplexer) platforms for transport networks, announced that it has opened an office in Mumbai, India to address rapid telecommunications infrastructure developments that are underway as part of that country's economic expansion.

January 4, 2006 San Jose, CA -- Corrigent Systems, a provider of Packet ADM (add-drop multiplexer) platforms for transport networks, announced that it has opened an office in Mumbai, India to address rapid telecommunications infrastructure developments that are underway as part of that country's economic expansion.

The company appointed Mr. Suhas Patil to head its Mumbai office as its India country manager. Prior to joining Corrigent, Patil served as managing director of Ceragon Networks (India) Private Ltd., and as deputy general manager of the telecom projects division of Larsen & Toubro Ltd., where he was responsible for project business development for ECI Telecom in India.

We are confident that this office will prove its ability to support the build-out of state-of-the-art networks in India," comments Akio Ogiso, VP of APAC for Corrigent Systems.
