ATS, NTS pair on test, design services

January 23, 2006 Norwood, MA -- Advanced Thermal Solutions (ATS), a provider of testing and design services and products to cool electronic equipment, has partnered with National Technical Systems (NTS), a provider of conformance and certification testing, quality registration, and managed services.

January 23, 2006 Norwood, MA -- Advanced Thermal Solutions (ATS) , a provider of testing and design services and products to cool electronic equipment, has partnered with National Technical Systems (NTS), a provider of conformance and certification testing, quality registration, and managed services.

The companies say the partnership offers a uniquely integrated resource for manufacturers with thermal management issues who require the services of a certified testing laboratory to show compliance with equipment standards. Advantages to OEMs, according to the companies, include faster delivery of test results and certifications, and joint expertise to more efficiently resolve problems.

According to the companies, as an example of the specific advantages offered by the partnership, with a single point of contact a telecom company can ensure that its latest design continually operates within safe temperature ranges, meets all designated switching and networking performance requirements, complies with European ETSI telecom standards, and satisfies domestic NEBS standards for network safety and reliability.

According to a press release, the companies' test and design services are now available in North America and Western Europe. ATS has facilities in Massachusetts, California, and Holland. NTS has laboratories throughout the United States as well as in Europe, Canada, Germany, Japan, and Vietnam.
