BroadLight receives ISO 9001:2000 certification

May 2, 2005 Mountain View, CA -- BroadLight, a supplier of semiconductors, software, and transceivers for FTTP deployments, has been awarded ISO 9001-2000 certification from the Standards Institution of Israel (SII). According to a press release, the company received certification following an extensive review of its internal operations and R&D processes, all of which met or exceeded the quality standards set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

According to a press release, the company received certification following an extensive review of its internal operations and R&D processes, all of which met or exceeded the quality standards set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

ISO 9001:2000 is an international standard that gives requirements for an organization's Quality Management System (QMS). According to the release, the objective of ISO 9001:2000 is to provide a set of requirements that, if they are effectively implemented, provide companies with confidence that a supplier can consistently provide goods and services that meet the needs and expectations and comply with applicable regulations.
