Tunable laser-diode system

SDL-8630 tunable 0.5W external-cavity laser diode provides continuous-wave power and a diffraction-limited beam. By interchanging internal laser-diode gain elements, specific wavelength tuning is available from 780 to 1060 nm. The SDL-8630 enclosure includes a thermo-electric laser-diode mount, collimating optics, spatial filter and a motor-driven, manually or computer-controlled grating. The complete system includes the laser diode, grating controller and the SDL-824 laser-diode driver.
