Summary

Over the past year, the world has witnessed AI evolve from an abstract concept to an emerging phenomenon and finally to a critical strategic pillar for many businesses, delivering measurable benefits and competitive advantages. Simultaneously, Compute as a Service—the backbone of platforms like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud—continues to increase. This growth stresses their networks and has become a significant telecom driver, accounting for up to 40% of current bandwidth demand.

To support the rapid expansion in data generation and consumption, networking infrastructure has been pushed to levels of strain not seen since the advent of DWDM. The emerging 800G pluggable coherent transceiver is a key solution to this challenge. This technology delivers cost-effective bandwidth over long distances, making it suitable for brownfield and greenfield networks. 800G pluggable optics mark a turning point in the market for data center interconnects. Pluggable coherent transceiver technology comes at a time when hyperscalers are dramatically scaling their operations to meet the demands of AI. During our webinar, we’ll discuss the unique challenges of AI, the recent performance gains in speed and distance achieved by pluggable coherent modules, and the impact these trends will have on the market.

Join us as we explore the technological advancements, features, and applications of 800G coherent modules, which will enable network growth and deployment in the future.
