Model FM8515C optical power meter features reference store, 0.01-dB resolution, measurements in dBm, dBr, and mW, and a dynamic range greater than 60 dB. Although calibrated for 1310- and 1550-nm wavelengths, the unit can also make 850-nm measurements for general utility purposes. The device is calibrated from -40 to +20 dBm but accepts optical signal levels from dark to +25 dBm. The power meter is priced at $740.
