Wirewerks says its new NextSTEP Distribution Frame presents the smallest ODF footprint in the industry while providing high fiber density and superior manageability. As described in an application note, Zayo Group used the NextSTEP Optical Distribution Frame to solve challenges presented by lack of floor space with improved fiber management in national telecom hub in Toronto, ON, Canada. The overall project design allows Zayo to increase their capacity to 6,912 fibers.

Judge’s comment: “With its modular design and industry-leading small footprint, the NextStep Distribution Frame saves space in high fiber count deployments, independent of what rack is used.”
