Infinera: Infinera XR Optics

March 23, 2021
Infinera says its XR optics leverage Nyquist subcarrier technology to provide the industry’s first scalable point-to-multipoint, direct low-speed to high-speed optical transceiver connectivity.
Infinera says its XR optics leverage Nyquist subcarrier technology to provide the industry’s first scalable point-to-multipoint, direct low-speed to high-speed optical transceiver connectivity. Using 25-Gbps subcarriers enables more dynamic and rapid allocation of capacity in the network without complex planning and time-consuming truck rolls, according to the company.

Judge’s comment: “Largely simplified access network."
