Lindsay Broadband adds GPON/XGS-PON systems support specialist

Lindsay Broadband says James Foster brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role.

Lindsay Broadband has announced the addition of James Foster as Systems Support Specialist, GPON / XGS-PON Solutions.

Foster brings with him 16 years of systems development and support. He previously held positions at Coach Canada/Trentway Wager where he held the position of network analyst; Rolls-Royce Civil Nuclear Canada as IT administrator/technical support specialist; MicroAge Technology Solutions as bench technician/system builder; and PC Paramedics as bench technician/system builder.

Foster studied Electronics Engineering/Information Networks at Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

“James will be responsible for the development, design and testing of Lindsay’s next generation of XGPON and IP infrastructure solutions for the cable and telecommunications industries,” said Ken Weaver, Director of Optical Engineering at Lindsay Broadband. “We welcome him as a key member of our ever-growing team, as we continue to expand our offerings of next generation technologies and network solutions.”
