Natural foods outfit taps Comcast Biz Ethernet

Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) has opened a new 80,000-square-foot customer support center in Liberty Lake, WA, near Spokane. The facility currently has 470 employees and is expected to eventually have more than 700. In addition to the call center, the facility also includes a technology demo lab.

The center currently handles three kinds of customer calls:

  • Calls from customers across the country interested in Xfinity Home products and services
  • Calls from across the country in support of new customers who have ordered Xfinity products and services through the new Amazon partnership
  • Calls related to accessibility - particularly for people with disabilities or relatives working with people with disabilities
