Midco, formerly Midcontinent Communications, plans to build a new facility in Rapid City, SD. The telecommunications company is investing $3 million in the project, which is scheduled to begin construction this month.
The 22,000-square-foot building will house all Midco operations in Rapid City in one location for the first time. After the project finishes, which is scheduled for this fall, more than 50 employees will be based from the building, including the customer service center, a warehouse, offices, engineering and networking equipment, and a small TV production studio.
