Canadian cable operator Videotron is deploying Alcatel-Lucent's (NYSE:ALU) Motive Customer Experience Management (CEM) Platform to remotely and proactively manage and troubleshoot its customers' WiFi routers throughout Quebec. The deployment is intended to identify and resolve customers' CPE problems, speed activation of new services, and enable automatic device updates and quicker response to customer care calls.
The deployment includes Alcatel-Lucent's Motive Home Device Manager, Motive Service Management Platform and Motive Customer Service Console.
