Affinegy was selected by Texas-based service provider GVTC to support home WiFi [http://www.broadbandtechreport.com/in-the-network/wifi.html] offerings for its 35,000+ broadband subscribers. Deployment of Affinegy's CHARIOT platform is intended to provide installation, automated provisioning, remote care, self-care, and device management for GVTC subscribers.

GVTC serves more than 40,000 customers in areas of far north San Antonio, the Texas hill country and south central Texas. In June 2014, the company formed the GVTC GigaRegion with the cities of Boerne, Bulverde and Gonzales. The GigaRegion went live last September.
