    The American National Standards Institute has approved ANSI/SCTE 130-2 2014, "Digital Program Insertion - Advertising Systems Interfaces Part 2 Core Data Elements." The document, SCTE 130 Part 2, describes the digital program insertion advertising systems interfaces' core messaging and data types using extensible markup language (XML), XML namespaces, and XML schema.
