South Carolina-based cable operator Comporium has selected Ubisense myworld and the Ubisense Network Operations Portal, and plans to implement the geospatial technology in the coming months. The deployment is intended to enable Comporium to streamline engineering, address network issues, upgrade customer service and improve operational efficiencies.

Ubisense myWorld is designed to give a dashboard view of the entire network service area in a map application that integrates enterprise data and Google Maps with dynamic network and field information overlays, while Network Operations Portal is designed to centralize network monitoring.
