Amdocs announced the launch of its OSS 8.1, the latest release of its OSS suite. It introduces new functionality in a number of areas, including flexible order editing and work-task manipulation; a pre-configured solution for VoIP services for enterprise customers; out-of-the-box configurations to support LTE, FTTX and Ethernet; selective targeting of network elements for reconciliation; and enhancements to Amdocs' OSS Studio for product configuration and Universal Installer.The OSS is designed to support fixed, mobile, broadband or cable from an IT and TMF standards-compliant architecture to enable co-existence with existing operational systems.
