ARRIS Preps Quad-Play for ABTA

ARRIS (www.arrisi.com) will demonstrate its video, data, fixed and wireless voice solutions to Brazilian cable operators at the ABTA Cable Exhibition and Conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Aug. 10-12.Planned demos include: advanced multi-wavelength fiber solutions, including EPON and RFoG; a fixed/mobile convergence solution; DOCSIS 3.0-based headend and customer premises devices; advanced video encoding and decoding and 4:1 HD compression; a next generation multimedia home gateway; and network, service and remote workforce management systems.Additionally, ARRIS engineers will deliver a technical presentation titled "Enabling Operators to Meet Consumer Demand for Converged Home Network and IP Content and Services" at 11 a.m. on Aug. 10.
