Megacable analiza opciones de MVNO; selecciona a Toolbox como plataforma de VOD

    El operador mexicano Megacable tiene previsto un MVNO a inicios del próximo año a más tardar, según CNN Expansion. Las posibilidades de lograr esto incluyen alquilar infraestructura de Movistar o Telcel, según Telecompaper.

    En otro orden de cosas, Megacable utilizará las soluciones Cloud Hub y Cloud Pass de Toolbox como parte de su plataforma de TV Everywhere y VOD, Megacable Play. Cloud Hub organiza metadatos de proveedores de contenidos, canales en vivo y la plataforma OTT con la intención de presentarlos como una fuente de contenidos. Actualmente se utiliza en Latinoamérica en plataformas como DIRECT Play, Cablevisión Play de Argentina, TeleRed Play y Dish Móvil de México, según RapidTV News.
