Chipmakers MaxLinear y Entropic Communications han firmado un acuerdo definitivo para que MaxLinear adquiera a Entropic. Las juntas directivas de ambas compañías han aprobado por unanimidad la operación. Se espera que el acuerdo, cuyo valor aproximado es de USD 287 millones, se cierre en el segundo trimestre de 2015.
