Los informes de prensa indican que Cable Onda, una empresa de telecomunicaciones de Panamá, invertirá $ 6,3 millones durante cuatro años en la Liga Panameña de Fútbol. El dinero se invertirá en el desarrollo de jugadores, así como en los estadios, con la intención de ayudar a la selección nacional del país a clasificarse para la Copa Mundial de 2018.
