WOW! touts fiber broadband network construction progress in central Florida

Widespread construction marks significant progress towards WOW!'s commitment to reach 400,000 new homes passed by fiber by 2027.

Broadband services provider (BSP) WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone (NYSE: WOW) on Mar. 30 announced that construction of its fiber network is well underway and nearing completion in the central Florida communities of Casselberry, Forest City, and Wekiwa Springs.

The BSP reports that construction has also begun and is progressing rapidly in additional central Florida communities, including the towns of Fairview Shores, Fern Park, Goldenrod, Lake Mary, Longwood, Ocoee, Sanford, Sanlando Springs, Winter Garden, and Winter Springs.

The new market build-outs, along with the company's successful launch of fiber internet services in Altamonte Springs, Florida, are part of the WOW!'s ongoing market expansion to bring its advanced fiber network to 400,000 homes passed in new service areas by 2027.

WOW!'s fiber network subscriber services include residential symmetrical internet speeds up to 5 Gbps. Among its suite of products, WOW! also offers its WOW tv+, reliable home phone plans, the WOW! mobile powered by Reach service, and flexible, comprehensive platforms for businesses.
