Sept. 12, 2022
Lumos said it will begin engineering work immediately, with construction of the new network in North Carolina's Durham and Orange Counties starting in early 2023.

Lumos has announced a capital investment of approximately $50 million to bring its 100% fiber-optic internet service to approximately 35,000 more residents and businesses in North Carolina, across the local areas of Durham and Orange Counties.
