Redwood Credit Union (RCU), a financial institution serving businesses and residents in the greater North Bay area in California, is using Comcast Business (NASDAQ:CMCSA) fiber-based Ethernet and Internet services for network access for employees and members. RCU now has gigabit-level capacity.
Redwood Credit Union upgraded to a 1 Gbps Business Ethernet Network Service (ENS) to its three primary sites consisting of its headquarters, disaster recovery location, and secondary building. Additionally, its 20 locations use 20 Mbps Ethernet Dedicated Internet (EDI) to support its business operations. Redwood Credit Union is also using Comcast's Business VoiceEdge cloud-based voice and unified communications (UC) solution and Comcast Business TV.
Founded in 1950, Redwood Credit Union provides personal and business banking to consumers in the North Bay and San Francisco. The institution has more than $4 billion in assets, and serves 300,000 members with 17 full-service branches and 30,000 fee-free network ATMs nationwide.
