Cable ONE Business (NYSE:CABO) has launched a 500 Mbps business Internet tier in the Kansas communities of Neodesha, Independence, Parsons and Chanute. The new small- and medium-sized business (SMB)-focused service, Elite Business Internet, also features 50 Mbps upstream and is now available to more than 95% of Cable ONE Business markets.

"Our 500 Mbps Elite Business Internet service will support the technology needs of businesses in the communities we serve, now and in the future," said Chris Boone, vice president of business services for Cable ONE. "We are excited to be able to offer 500 Mbps Internet service to nearly 200,000 businesses in our markets."

Cable ONE says it has invested more than $700 million over the past five years on network upgrades.

"We will continue to invest in our markets so that we can deliver integrated solutions for the businesses we serve and to bolster Cable ONE's network and capabilities in order to enhance the customer experience through service delivery and support," Boone said.

Cable ONE Business also offers dedicated fiber optic services with up to 10 Gbps symmetrical speeds to enterprise businesses. The company's business services products include high-speed Internet, phone and cable TV services for SMBs, and fiber-based Internet, phone and Ethernet solutions for large enterprises.
