Caribbean and Latin American service provider C&W Networks, now part of Liberty Global's (NASDAQ:LBTYA) LiLAC Group, has achieved MEF Carrier Ethernet 2.0 (CE 2.0) certification for E-Line, E-LAN, E-TREE, and E-ACCESS services through the use of Juniper Networks (NYSE:JNPR) MX Series 3D Universal Edge Routers. The CE 2.0 industry certifications are intended to enhance C&W Networks' ability to deliver more dynamic and customized Ethernet business services.

The testing process included performance and bandwidth profiles. Using Juniper Networks MX104, MX240, MX480, and MX960 routers, the C&W Networks International MPLS Ethernet Network was certified MEF 2.0 ready in June 2016.

"Achieving this certification further demonstrates our commitment to provide carrier class Ethernet interconnectivity throughout the Caribbean and Latin America," said Paul Scott, president, C&W Networks. "Upgrading to the latest MEF CE 2.0 certification, we are able to precisely demonstrate the continued high performance, reliability, and network scalability, according to exacting standards our customers require, while also paving the way for future innovations and increased service quality."
