WOW! Business is now offering fiber-optic based Internet, data and voice services to business services customers in eight more downtown Tampa, FL, commercial buildings.
In June, WOW! announced a $20 million investment in the Tampa Bay area and Florida's Pinellas County to expand and upgrade its commercial and residential networks there. The move is intended to take advantage of local market opportunities stemming from recent cable industry mergers and acquisitions. Bright House Networks, which was recently acquired by Charter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR), operates in Tampa, as does Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA).
"This is another example of WOW! Business' commitment to providing businesses in downtown Tampa a more complete solution for Internet, data and voice services," said Steve Pozil, vice president and general manager of WOW!. "The businesses in these eight buildings will also benefit with WOW!'s outstanding local customer support that is designed for businesses."
WOW! Business products include business Internet, Ethernet and dedicated Internet access up to 10 Gbps; voice services ranging from simple phone lines to cloud-based VoIP telephony and connectivity for customer-owned equipment. In addition, WOW! offers data center and cloud services in Tampa.
