RCN Business has expanded its network into
Telehouse's data center in New York City. The expansion is intended to enable RCN Business to offer its full suite of
business services, including dedicated Internet access, hosted voice, PRI/SIP trunks, HD video, and Ethernet E-Line, E-LAN and dark fiber services to small, medium, and enterprise businesses colocated in the facility.
The new connectivity options for Telehouse and RCN clients offer connectivity to fiber-lit buildings in New York, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Eastern Pennsylvania via the RCN network. As part of the deployment, RCN Business will establish dual entrances into the data center for added reliability and redundancy.
Telehouse operates carrier-neutral data centers that are Tier III and IV, SSAE 16 compliant.
