Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Business announced an extension of its fiber network to the Modesto Business Park in California. Comcast installed more than 4 miles of fiber, both underground and aerial, to the business community.
The $580,000 network expansion is designed to provide Ethernet capacity up to 10 Gbps, including Internet, WiFi and voice services. The expansion brings the business park, home to more than 280 businesses, fiber-based Internet for the first time, as well as IP-based voice services.
