Technetix Group, a global broadband cable and telecommunications equipment supplier, has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of the ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) Supplies Division, formerly Telewire Supplies.

The acquisition is intended to help Technetix expand its footprint in the Americas and offer a greater range of solutions and support services. Technetix will merge the ARRIS Supplies business into its existing U.S. operations in Denver. The transaction is expected to close in the latter half of Q3.
