ADTRAN Reaches Gigabit Milestone

ADTRAN (NASDAQ:ADTN) announced that more than 100 communities are now part of its "Enabling Communities, Connecting Lives" gigabit broadband campaign. United Communications is the most recent service provider addition, with gigabit deployments in Nolensville, Chapel Hill, and College Grove, TN. United Communications is deploying fiber to residential and business customers, and also working with the town of Chapel Hill on the possibility of a virtual community college campus.
