C Spire is upgrading its network in Flora, MS, to fiber. The company already provides cable TV and Internet services in the town of 1,886. The upgrade is intended to support 1 Gbps Internet, HD video and residential voice services. Customers can keep a modified version of the original services or upgrade to fiber-based packages.

The small town is best known as the gateway to Mississippi's 36 million-year-old petrified forest.
