Bright House Networks Enterprise Solutions has introduced Hosted Voice for Hospitality, a cloud-based hotel communications service. Delivered over the Enterprise Solutions cloud, the new hosted voice solution is designed for hotels of all sizes and to provide secure, private connectivity and 100% accountability.
The service provides a virtual private branch exchange (PBX) hosted in the Bright House cloud that integrates with a property's legacy property management systems (PMS). It also offers a web portal enabling much of the same functionality if a property does not have an existing PMS. The solution is intended to enable hotels to accelerate the guest check-in/check-out process, leverage in-room phones to log and track room status and other housekeeping tasks, and synchronize hotel operations.
