The SCTE has approved one ad insertion recommended practice and two MPEG-4 standards.
The SCTE has released its workshop agenda for Cable-Tec Expo 2015 in October in New Orleans. Topics center on technologies to help cable operators avoid costs, deploy new revenue-generating services, and increase the quality and reliability of services. The 35 workshops are divided into five tracks:
  • Business-to-Business Solutions and Energy 2020
  • Next-Generation Services
  • Wireless and Home Networks
  • Wireline: RF
  • Wireline: Fiber and Core
