    CenturyLink tops carrier Ethernet rankings
    According to Vertical Systems Group's 2014 U.S. Cable MSO Ethernet Leaderboard, Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC), Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA), Cox Communications, Charter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR) and Cablevision's (NYSE:CVC) Lightpath business services arm are the top cable MSOs selling Carrier Ethernet services in the United States. The companies are ranked by share of billable U.S. retail ports delivered by cable operators as of year-end 2014.

    Other companies in the cable MSO segment include (in alphabetical order) Bright House Networks, Consolidated Communications (NASDAQ:CNSL), RCN Business, SuddenLink and WOW! Business.
