Fidelity Starting Gigabit in AR Town

Fidelity Communications is beginning to offer FTTH-based 1 Gbps Internet service in the Sterling Oaks subdivision in Benton, AR. Fidelity is initially offering symmetrical gigabit speeds for $80 a month. Digital TV and phone service will be offered this summer. Sterling Oaks has 64 homes built and seven building lots still available. The MSO is shooting for having service to 30% of the homes by the end of the year.

Fidelity plans to expand its fiber buildout to other subdivisions in Benton and the surrounding area in the coming months.
