According to Vertical Systems Group's U.S. Carrier Ethernet Leaderboard results for year-end 2014, the top eight Ethernet providers are (in rank order based on retail port share): AT&T, Level 3, Verizon, CenturyLink, Time Warner Cable, Comcast, Cox and XO. Continued demand for higher bandwidth business services boosted the U.S. base of Ethernet port installations 23% in 2014. This growth rate follows a 26% increase in 2013.

Six of the eight companies on the Leaderboard are MEF CE 2.0 certified, and the other two have CE 1.0 certification.
