Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Business has been busy on both the East and West coasts, with a network upgrade in Florida and a healthcare customer win in California.

Comcast Business is investing millions of dollars in network enhancements in Florida's Palm Beach County to expand its high-speed fiber-optic Ethernet and Internet service options for area businesses, schools, hospitals and other organizations. The new fiber-based Ethernet network is designed to deliver speeds up to 10 Gbps.

In California, Golden Valley Health Centers, a non-profit health care system, is installing Comcast Business Ethernet services at its final site, totaling 20 clinical sites in Merced and Stanislaus counties. With the upgrade, the health care system will be moving from Internet speeds of 1.5 Mbps to nearly 100 Mbps.
