The NCTA, CableLabs and SCTE have issued their call for papers for the 2015 Spring Technical Forum during INTX: The Internet & Television Expo, formerly known as The Cable Show.
Submitted papers should focus on new science, technology, services, algorithms, and architectures for cable. Topics of particular interest include:
Cloud
Wireless
Security
Future of computer science
Streaming and OTT services
Advanced cable architectures
Spectrum allocation and efficiencies
Reaching gigabit capacities
All IP networks
Bandwidth utilization, control and traffic engineering
4K/8K video compression and the impact on bandwidth requirements
Prospective authors should submit a proposal using the online submission tool available at intx.ncta.com/stf2015 no later than Dec. 12. The Forum will take place May 5-7, 2015, in Chicago.
