Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Business' portfolio of Ethernet services is now available across 17 communities in Rutland County, VT.
Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Business' portfolio of Ethernet services is now available across 17 communities in Rutland County, VT. The network expansion is intended to build on the company's 2013 expansion of the services across Chittenden County and marks the next step toward a 10 Gbps fiber network in Vermont. The MSO's Ethernet services are designed for businesses, schools, hospitals and other companies requiring more bandwidth, looking to network multiple locations, or planning to connect to a third-party data center.

Comcast's fiber network now reaches Chittenden, Clarendon, Cuttingsville, Danby, Ira, Killington, Mendon, Middletown Springs, Mount Holly, Mount Tabor, North Clarendon, Pittsford, Proctor, Rutland, Shrewsbury, Tinmouth and Wallingford.

Comcast Business offers four Ethernet services, including Ethernet Private Line, Ethernet Virtual Private Line, Ethernet Network Service and Ethernet Dedicated Internet.
