Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) has launched X1 DVR with cloud technology and live in-home streaming TV to new Xfinity TV customers in the company's Freedom Region serving greater Philadelphia, New Jersey and northern Delaware. To support the deployment, Comcast has launched a new Xfinity TV app for iOS and Android tablets and smartphones and a dedicated portal for viewing on computers.

The MSO plans to roll X1 out to additional markets throughout the year.
