Comcast Biz Scores with NJ Schools

Springfield Public Schools in New Jersey has selected Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Business Ethernet services to support more than 2,400 students across the district's five schools. In addition to Internet bandwidth, Comcast Business will also provide a connection between Springfield Public Schools and its primary data center.

Comcast Business upgraded Springfield Public Schools' network from 100 Mbps to a 1 Gbps Ethernet Dedicated Internet connection. The Ethernet Dedicated Internet connection from Comcast also is supporting the district's entire offsite backup system, and plans to upgrade its network to 10 Gbps are currently underway.
