AT&T (NYSE:T) is launching U-verse in the Augusta, GA, area, including multiscreen video, high-speed Internet and voice. The service will continue rolling out to additional local cities and neighborhoods in coming months.

The new services are part of AT&T's Project Velocity IP (VIP), which is intended to extend the U-verse IP network to about 57 million customer locations by the end of 2015. AT&T also plans to upgrade U-verse High Speed Internet to speeds of up to 100 Mbps over the next several years.
