Carrier VoIP, IMS Market Gained 30% in 2013
According to Infonetics Research, 2013 was a very good year for vendors of carrier VoIP and IMS products, with Huawei, Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson and NSN each posting 20%+ year-over-year growth. For the full year 2013, worldwide service provider VoIP and IMS equipment revenue totaled $3.7 billion, up 30% from 2012. Spending was particularly strong in the United States, China and Japan.
