CommScope Extends Backup Power to Businesses
CommScope (NASDAQ:COMM) is now offering its hydrogen fuel cell solution to provide backup power for small-to-medium enterprises in North America.
The outdoor cabinet fuel cell solution, previously deployed by the SCTE and CableLabs, is designed to provide up to 16 hours of backup power to enterprise core business computing systems. It converts chemical energy into electrical energy without any combustion and does not emit any greenhouse gases; the only byproducts are heat and water.
