Comcast Biz Connects PA Schools, Adds to Upware

The Lincoln Intermediate Unit, which offers educational and technology resources to more than 96,000 students and teachers in southern Pennsylvania, is providing Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) Business Ethernet services to many of its member districts across York, Franklin and Adams counties. The Ethernet solution is intended to support a variety of cloud computing and disaster preparedness initiatives currently being developed by its affiliated school districts.In other Comcast Business news, Swiftpage, a provider of integrated marketing and CRM solutions for individuals, small businesses and mobile sales teams, is the first solution in the new Marketing and CRM aisle on the Upware marketplace from Comcast Business. Swiftpage Engage is an SaaS-based e-mail and social marketing solution.
