The Metro Ethernet Forum plans to launch its Global Ethernet Networking (GEN14) conference on Nov. 17-20, 2014, in Washington, DC. The networking event is intended for senior professionals involved in the Carrier Ethernet services and technology industry, including: retail, wholesale, and mobile service providers; data center providers; cloud service providers; mid to large businesses; government organizations; and network solutions vendors.The conference is scheduled to include keynote speakers, educational roundtables and panels, a services and technology demonstration center (including proof-of-concept and other CE, SDN, NFV and cloud services demos), an exhibit floor, a networking lounge, and a media hub.
